National Autistic Society

National Autistic Society is a British Charity for autistic people. The organisation helps to improve the lives of autistic people living with the condition in the UK. In addition to a wide range of adult and children’s services for autistic people located across England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, the charity has an Autism Helpline open 5 days a week, a range of products for professionals working with autistics and a campaigning function. We raised an amazing £1,000!

BOSAM BUDS are a voluntary charity based in West Lothian. Formed in 2009 by a group of friends as a result of two members being affected by tumours, they were inspired to help by raising money and awareness. They donate funds to St John’s Oncology Unit and Breakthrough. They also supply real hair wigs, fund eyebrow tattooing, provide mastectomy bras, arrange pamper days, provide post-treatment exercise classes & personal trainer instruction, meditation courses and yoga classes. They work with all patients, regardless of age, race, cancer type / diagnosis, etc. As a company we raised over £4,000 by doing a sponsored abseil from the Forth Road Bridge for the charity.

The Yard

The Yard is an award-winning charity running adventure play services for disabled children, young people and their families in the east of Scotland. They offer disabled children and their siblings the chance to experience creative, adventurous indoor and outdoor play in a well-supported environment. Since opening in 1986, their services have grown significantly, but will always retain our holistic approach and ethos of a child-centred and child-led play service. Virtue Money raised £1,720 for the charity.

The Caring Cafe

The Caring Cafe (situated in Linlithgow) provides a meeting place in the heart of our community that gives people with dementia and their carers a chance to meet others in a similar situation. Over the year we held a charity ball at the Inchyra Grange Hotel and Spa. We held a silent auction as well as a live auction and received a great turn out. In total we managed to raise an amazing £12,000!

Do the world for Charity

Virtue Money teamed up with the lovely staff of Policy Services Ltd in 2017 to do our biggest challenge to date… we ran, walked, climbed, cycled and swam around the World’s Equator! That’s right… over the course of 2017-2019 we have been traveling the distance of the World’s Equator (24,874 miles) and for every mile completed by the members of staff, the company donated 50p to their chosen charities! We are very proud to be reporting we have finally completed the challenge and in total, managed to
